LCC Building 15 Public Safety Renovation + Elevated Platform Remediation

This project centers on the renovation of Lane Community College’s Building 15 to serve as a safe, effective, and permanent new home for their Public Safety Department. Design priorities included creating a welcoming, prominent, and accessible new home for the Department that better supports their functions and maximizes their potential to serve the campus community.

The project also includes the removal of portions of the existing concrete elevated platform adjacent to Building 15 to address safety concerns based on structural degradation and seismic deficiencies. This removal provides the opportunity to better knit this portion of campus together at both grade and at the elevated level.
